Opening Doors to Education, One Student at a Time

Regardless of their background, we at MathScienceUSA think all students should have the opportunity to succeed academically. Our goal is to help high school students in underprivileged communities develop their confidence, improve their writing, math, and science abilities, and take significant steps toward success in college and the workplace by offering them free, excellent tutoring and mentoring.

Our Roots, Our Reach, and Our Mission

With the goal to bridge academic gaps and provide top-notch tutoring to students who most need it, MathScienceUSA was created. What began as a personal development journey has evolved into a community-based initiative to provide free tutoring, mentoring, and college readiness to high school students in Philadelphia and New Jersey.

Where We Serve

Currently, we provide free tutoring to high school students in towns near Philadelphia, Central Jersey, and South Jersey. In addition to committed volunteer tutors from surrounding universities like the UPenn, Princeton, Rutgers, TCNJ, and Temple University, we are expanding our reach through collaborations with regional and local tutoring organizations.

Our Impact & Goals

MathScienceUSA is committed to helping underprivileged students close their academic gaps. By focusing on math, science, and writing, we help students develop critical abilities, improve academic performance, and prepare for college admissions. Our writing workshops provide solid groundwork for writing academic and personal essays, a skill frequently disregarded in conventional tutoring programs.

Why MathScienceUSA Was Founded

I have had math tutoring for the past few years, which has changed the way I approach problem-solving. I was accepted into the Math Honors Society at my school as a result, but more significantly, I gained self-confidence and motivation. I founded MathScienceUSA to provide my community's students with the same kind of support.

Meet the Founder

Nandini is a sophomore at Hopewell Valley High School and has been tutoring 9th graders in math, science, and writing, and she realized that some students thrive with just a little bit of additional support. Her passion to improve other students’ potential led her to create this platform for her local community. Nandini works with local colleges and volunteer organizations to source talented volunteers to offer online tutoring and mentoring.
